Understand Italian by understanding the Italians...
Now, I was thinking about my restaurant nightmare, the one I shared with you yesterday, and it got me to thinking about some of the other times my English has failed me.
I've had some language disasters over the years, but the worst ones involved getting my grammar all mixed up, offending someone, and embarrassing myself!
That's why Rocket Italian includes Language & Culture Lessons. Because I know what it's like to get it wrong, I've made sure that you have everything you need to get it right.

The Culture Lessons give you a real insight into the Italians themselves, because the best way to understand Italian is to understand Italians!
Each lesson looks at a different aspect of Italian culture, from greetings to manners, fashion to food. These lessons will really give you a feeling for what it's like to be Italian and to live in Italy.
Like lesson 1.6: Survival Phrases and Pronunciation.
I could have used this one many times over, when I needed something to say after the hellos...
You'll learn about asking someone's name and where they're from. Plus there's heaps of vocab and phrases for you to practice. It seems like a lot to learn but you'll be surprised at how simple it really is!
The Culture tab has, you guessed it, the culture lesson. This one talks about the common perception of what Italian people are like. In fact the reality is a bit different from the stereotype...
Together these Language and Culture Lessons will help you to avoid the embarrassing blunders that I made when I was a learner.
So, why not head back to your course and check some out now?

On my opinion the best way to learn any language is to have constant speaking practice. In such case the best way is to find a tutor and native speakers. I can advise https://preply.com/en/london-UK/italian-tutors for searching native speaking tutors. I've learnt Italian using this website. All other methods you can use as aditional way to gain new knowledge and practice already completed material. But I'm looking for new methods to improve my skiils. Can you help me?
